Dee LaGioia joined CFHC as Chief Operating Officer in October 2014. In this role, Ms. LaGioia has primary oversight of health center operations including patient care, grant- and contracted-funded programs, as well as overseeing program and support staff. She is also responsible for interfacing with all CFHC partner organizations such as hospitals, community and government agencies, other Federally Qualified Health Centers and funders.
She has more than 36 years of medicine and community health experience and holds a BS in Nursing. Ms. LaGioia has a proven track record in operations and leadership, businesses and financial acumen and familiarity with health care accreditation programs. Most recently, she spent 14 years at Access Community Health Network. Since July of 2007, Ms. LaGioia managed the largest health center in the Access system while serving as Regional Operations Manager. Additionally, was responsible for providing leadership and management oversight to other health centers within the region including budgeting/fiscal management, employee relations, coaching, performance management and staff development.
