BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER SUPPORT

Chicago Family Health Center’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program provides access to the breast and cervical cancer care for uninsured and medically underserved women in Chicago.

The program provides women with the tests they need—like pap smears, a clinical breast exam and mammogram referrals—to find out early on if they have breast or cervical cancer. Catching cancer early means that women can receive the treatment they need and start getting better right away.

We want to ensure that no woman is alone in facing the challenges of cancer, and that our dedicated staff is there for her, providing the love, safety and support she needs in her journey back to health.

Additionally, Chicago Family Health Center provides many free support programs and initiatives for cancer patients including:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Cervical cancer and breast cancer screenings
  • Educational workshops
  • Pelvic exams
  • Referrals for medical treatment

Programs, workshops, services and support groups are offered in English and Spanish.

You can be confident that you’ll receive more than just the best clinical care, because CFHC’s patients also have access to a closely integrated network of support – including our Healthy Start program, Family Case Management services and WIC.
