NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams visited Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC) to report a story about the 2010 US Census. Historically, the census has undercounted African American and Hispanic populations, which make up a majority of CFHC patients. CFHC will begin education and outreach encouraging our communities to participate in the census. Watch video here

Chicago Family Health Center (CFHC) will hold its annual “Back to School” Health Fairs on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at our Roseland Center located at 120 W. 111th Street; Saturday, August 8, 2009 at our South Chicago Center located at 9119 S. Exchange; and Saturday, August 22, 2009 at our Pullman Center located at 556 E. 115th Street. The fairs will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Read more

Chicago Family Health Center’s Developmental Disabilities Program has planned a “Prioritization of Urgency of Needs for Services (PUNS) Awareness Week“ May 11th–15th 2009. PUNS is a database of Illinois infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities who may be in need of developmental disabilities services or support. Read more
2009 Healing Hands Dinner

On Friday, May 8, 2009, Chicago Family will honor several top community and civic leaders at the Healing Hands Annual Dinner. This year’s event is being held at the Metropolitan Club, located in the Sears Tower, Chicago beginning at 6:30 p.m. Attendees of the dinner will celebrate these leaders who have who have contributed their time, experience and resources for the betterment of others. East Side clinic to move in summer 2009
