Oral health affects your child’s speech, growth and social development. Cultivating good dental habits at an early age helps children get a great start on a lifetime of good oral health. At CFHC, we understand this and offer parents exactly what they need to provide their child great oral care.

We work with children of all ages, including infants, whose first visit to the dentist should occur when their first tooth appears or when they turn six months old. We recommend that Pediatric dental visits be scheduled at the time of well-child visits or other primary health appointments. All children are covered under Medicaid for routine dental care.

CFHC provides the quality comprehensive care your child deserves. Our warm, friendly staff is committed to providing high quality, compassionate dental care for all children in a pleasant and comfortable setting. We strive to make every dental visit both enjoyable and educational.

We provide comprehensive dental care for people living with HIV through the Ryan White Program, ensuring access to essential oral health services regardless of financial barriers. Good oral health is a critical part of overall well-being, especially for individuals with HIV, as they may be more prone to infections, gum disease, and other dental concerns.

Why Dental Care Matters for People with HIV

HIV can increase the risk of oral health conditions such as:

  • Gum disease and tooth decay
  • Oral infections, including thrush (a fungal infection)
  • Dry mouth, which can lead to cavities and discomfort
  • Mouth sores and ulcers

Regular dental visits can help detect and address these issues early, improving both oral health and overall well-being.

Through the Ryan White Program, we offer:

  • Routine Checkups & Cleanings – Preventive care to maintain a healthy smile and reduce the risk of infections.
  • Gum Disease & Infection Treatment – Specialized care for periodontal issues common in people with HIV.
  • Cavity Fillings & Restorative Care – Treatment for tooth decay and repairs for damaged teeth.
  • Denture & Prosthetic Services – Support for those in need of partial or full dentures via Referrals.
  • Oral Health Education & Preventive Care – Guidance on maintaining a healthy mouth and managing HIV-related oral health concerns.

Affordable & Accessible Care

The Ryan White Program provides low-cost or free dental services for eligible patients, ensuring that financial concerns do not stand in the way of necessary care. Our team is experienced in providing safe, compassionate, and stigma-free treatment in a welcoming environment.
