Conditions Most Treated: Women’s health; As a BSN RN working under the direction of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in Women’s Health, I most often care for patients with prenatal and postpartum needs, high-risk pregnancies, hypertension in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, abnormal Pap smear results, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), urinary tract infections, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, infertility concerns, and other gynecologic and women’s health conditions.
Services & Procedures Provided: As a BSN RN working under the direction of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, I provide patient education, telephone triage, medication reconciliation, laboratory and diagnostic result follow-up, care coordination, prenatal and postpartum support, referral coordination (including Maternal-Fetal Medicine and other specialty services), assistance with care planning, patient navigation, and support with preventive care and health education.
