
James Simmons is a retired Electrical Engineer. He worked as an Engineer at Exelon Corporation. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 1997.
“I believe that serving on this Board provides me the opportunity to give back to the community in any way I can,” he said.
As a Board member, I’m excited to be part of the change that brings community leaders together to improve health outcomes on Chicago’s South Side.
Healthcare is essential for all human beings. I believe access to healthcare should be a universal, basic human right available to all, regardless of status, or ability to pay.
Through my work on this Board, I seek to enable positive health outcomes for our patients in whatever capacity I serve.
