Roy Carlton

Roy Carlton joined Chicago Family Health Center in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Roy heads various financial functions within the organization such as revenue cycle, treasury, audit, grants management, accounting, budget, financial planning, internal controls, and analytical functions. He has a diversified background honed with medical finance, cross-functional leadership, and proven results spanning almost 30 years.  

Prior to joining CFHC, Roy served as CFO for Central Florida Family Health Centers in Sanford, Florida; CFO/VP of Palm Vascular & Allergy, Certified Foot and Ankle in Florida, New York, and Texas; and CFO/CIO at Legacy Physiatry in Dallas, TX and Boca Raton, FL. He received a BA in Accounting and Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and a Master of Accounting and CPA review from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He began his career as Director of Finance at Blue Cap School and Community Agency in Blue Island, IL.

Dr. Duplantis, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in Executive Leadership and Health Psychology, has a strong track record of developing strategic, evidence-based programs that address mental health and substance use needs in vulnerable populations.
