James Simmons is a retired Electrical Engineer. He worked as an Engineer at Exelon Corporation. He joined the CFHC Board of Directors in 1997.
“I believe that serving on this Board provides me the opportunity to give back to the community in any way I can,” he said.
As a Board member, I’m excited to be part of the change that brings community leaders together to improve health outcomes on Chicago’s South Side.
With more than 15 years of experience with FQHCs and nonprofits, I hope to employ my skills as an effective communicator with a fervent commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Through my work on this Board, I seek to enable positive health outcomes for our patients in whatever capacity I serve.
